About Us

Deepa is an enthusiastic art lover who firmly believes in life-long learning. A professional artist and educator for over 10 years, she is passionate about all art forms, including but not limited to Oils, Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastels, and Mixed Media. Since childhood, Deepa has always been attracted to colors, textures, and hues; the play of lights and shadows has always captivated her. She draws her inspiration from nature, festive colors, and people. She had her first successful exhibition of pottery paintings in oil and mixed media at the ripe age of 20!

 

Born and brought up in the Pink city, Jaipur, India, Deepa’s work shows the colors, vibrancy, and personality of her roots. She believes that art is not just for the eyes, but a medium for creativity. For Deepa, painting is akin to meditation—an incredible form of therapy that centers the mind and spirit.

 

Deepa is also a current member of the ArtsAlliance painter’s group, Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati.

 

Originally from India, having moved around the world, and currently based in Cincinnati, she has gained true international exposure and immense growth. It has also allowed her to share her knowledge and learning with the broader community. Deepa’s artwork has been collected globally demonstrating the broad appeal and recognition of her talent. not only in exhibitions, but also in several art workshops in India, The UK, Singapore, and the US.

 

She has a diploma in interior design and completed a course in Western fine arts from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore. Her background as a  Zumba, and yoga instructor helps her to keep the balance of zest and calmness in her creative journey.
