Glass, Light & Color Studio ( July 6-10th)

Duration: 5 Days | 3 Hours per Day (15 hours total)

Stained-glass style panels, mosaic-inspired designs, light-catching artwork.

In this 5-day Light, Color & Pattern Studio, students explore the beauty of stained-glass-inspired art through vibrant color, pattern, and light. Projects will be inspired by the mosaic-filled architecture and artistic details experienced during my creative journey to Barcelona, creative animal designs in luminous colors, and many more. This camp invites young artists to see how color and pattern can transform simple materials into luminous designs.

Each day, students work with translucent materials, layered shapes, and bold color combinations to create artwork that captures the feeling of light shining through glass. Younger artists are guided step-by-step, while older students explore more complex compositions and personal design choices. 

At Art by Deepa, this camp is more than a visual experience—it is a practice in observation, creativity, and joyful expression.

What students will learn:

• Understanding color relationships and contrast

• Creating patterns inspired by mosaic and stained-glass design. will also learn how to use resin to create the luminous effect (resin will only be introduced to older kids)

• Layering and arranging shapes for visual impact

• Developing confidence through creative exploration

All materials included. Students take home multiple finished pieces.
